This post has been a long time coming. I’ve been wanting to journal my experiences with a Women’s Sacred Circle I started last year but every time I logged onto my soulful woman blog it told me something was in error.
So I started a new one, although the spelling of goddess is wrong, the intent is still the same. ‘
It all started when I was looking for a group of women who could meet and share their stories. When I couldn’t find one, I approached a metaphysical bookstore and asked if I could introduce one. They agreed to open a room up and my journey as a facilitator began. I am in favor of women coming together, exploring our exceptional gifts, discovering new aspects of who we are, becoming authentic, and finding a way to live a more joyful life. ‘
My loving circle has covered goddess, the violet flame, chakras, ancestral roots, runes, and signs. And each month the circle grows, with new voices and perspectives creating a harmonious sound.
Women are becoming aware that religion is male based, with God having many of man’s faults, such as greed, self-conceit, cruelty and judgment and they are looking for something that more clearly aligns with them. In other words, they are seeking spirituality, a way to move forward to a more fulfilling life, living a more soulful experience.
Our stories are what bind us. Where we came from, what we’ve suffered, how we’ve triumphed, what paths we’ve chosen connect us in ways that speak to our immanence, and our archetypal minds.
Over time, I will share many of the stories, which can be used as steppingstones in better understanding our magic and our innate power.
To quote Maya Angelou ““I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.”
